National Luna 50Lt Twin Fridge & Freezer (Alum)

The Weekender 50 Lt Twin is a unique concept offering a 40Lt Fridge with a separate 10Lt Freezer and a simple single digital temperature control. All in a lightweight and compact unit.

 

The freezer section has a clear acrylic cover under the main lid and full wall wrap around cooling plates which are cleverly engineered to ensure the freezer runs around 10oC colder than whatever the 40Lt fridge section is set to.(! See Note below)

12/ 24v DC and 240v AC are all built in and the unit will automatically select to run on mains power whenever it is available - but revert to battery power if the mains go off. An LED Battery Monitor is built in to the control panel so you can see at a glance how much battery capacity you have left - great for planning ahead!

 

A digital thermostat for the Fridge section ensures the fridge maintains your desired temperature range without the need to adjust for hotter or colder weather.
Textured aluminium outer cabinet and smooth aluminium internal lining to give the lightest possible overall weight. (Stainless steel model also available)

On all Weekender models, the lid can be changed to open from the front or from the RH end. Just relocate the hinges and catches to the other location and change back again if ever necessary.

! Note: Due to the single control design of the 50 Twin, during times when the ambient temperature surrounding the Weekender 50 Twin is below the thermostat setting, the compressor will not be required to run.  Under this condition, the freezer compartment will not get any cooling.  This condition may occur during winter months and when the thermostat is not set to a lower temperature than ambient.  If you require the freezer at these times - then set the thermostat to a colder temperature than the ambient (outide temp)

2.5amp Average whilst Compressor is actually running. 1.75 amp/hour approximate overall average when used as Fridge with 10Lt Freezer. If used as all Freezer, consumption will be higher.
Twin models battery consumption can vary more than single models due to usage patterns.
